Research proves that simply gazing at greenery for 30 seconds can significantly reduce stress levels in the body.

During the workshop, we made step-by-step gardens of edible herbs that can be used on the kitchen windowsill or kept on the balcony. We used natural baskets and ribbons and identified the plants using wooden markers and letter stamps.

  • We promote the idea of zero waste and ecological attitudes. We nurture traditions. We learn about the culture of the region and the folk culture of other countries. We want to educate through arts and crafts. We connect children, young people and adults with artists, folk artists and museum professionals.
  • Together we work towards a green, competitive and promoting social inclusion Europe.
  • The environmental workshops take place as a part of the ‘Shelter – Climate, Migration, Heritage’ project, which is co-financed by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021 and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage as a part of the Culture Programme, Measure 2 ‘Improvement of an access to culture and the arts’.
