Both fabulous and ecological! The participants learned how easy it is to aesthetically pack gifts in the spirit of zero waste &#8211; using what they already have at home. Each participant made a few packages on their own. We provided all the materials. The workshop, during which we made lovely ornaments step by step. We used natural materials: cotton strings of various colours and weaves and wooden elements. We used only natural materials: thick cords and wooden handles. When creating the bags, we worked with the macram\u00e9 weaving technique &#8211; thick weaves were created. The bags will replace hundreds of plastic bags and will last for years. The created compositions adorned the participants&#8217; heads and, after drying, can be a decoration at home. The workshop took place in the garden of the Ethnography Department in a picnic setting &#8211; we encouraged people to bring their own blanket. The workshop included a walk in the area, and at the end the participants sowed their own mini meadow to take home with them. During the workshop, we reflected on the role of the senses in contact with nature and made plant arrangements that stimulate the senses and are nature-friendly.
