Palpable, existing, vibrating in body parts. During the session, we relaxed our bodies and guided them through different states and layers. We did physical and breathing exercises. In the main part, we subjected our bodies to a series of activities combining effort with voice emission, incitement of resonators located in specific body parts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We were working barefoot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Songs of Plants – singing workshops<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Plants and music have been a part of the daily lives and rituals of every community. The seasons, with changing vegetation landscape, defined the rhythm of people\u2019s lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the meeting, we learned about the basic history of scream-singing, we did breathing and voice emission exercises. We learned several traditional songs from scratch. We became familiar with the symbology of the plants that appear in artistic works and with their properties which we are now able to consciously use in our diets and home treatment methods for certain basic ailments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We were together as individuals and as a group. We talked in a circle, in a polyphony, intuitively sharing our emotions with the group\u2019s support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Anna Niestatek, a singer, performer, music producer and educator. Seeker of personalized avant-guarde forms of vocal expression, conductor of the Bydgoszcz Improvised Orchestra. She finds Zygmunt Molik\u2019s \u201cVoice and Body\u201d work method a great inspiration in her artistic activity.
