The Trójwiejska Society and Cech Wieloróda Guild roused us to dance!
The instructors taught us the steps of dances from Poland’s Lowlands without stylization, and the musicians enchanted us with the rhythm and the folk sound.
Cech Wieloróda Guild – an action space engaged in the field of North Małopolska music. What we have in common is the enchantment with the violin notes of those territories and the great plans for the future. The Guild was set up on the basis of two bands: Mażurki and ToPiwoDy.
Performing artists: Maciej Żurek, Antoni Hasso-Agopsowicz and Witold Wojciechowski.
- We promote the concept of integration and cultural diversity. We appreciate traditions. We learn about the culture of the region and folk cultures of other countries. We want to educate through art, culture and getting to know each other.
- We work together for a green, competitive Europe, supporting social inclusion.
- During the “Multicultural Dance” meetings, participants get to know ethnic and traditional dances from Poland and other parts of the world (Jewish, Georgian, Ukrainian etc.).
- The Multicultural Dance sessions are held within the project “The Shelter. Climate, Migrations, Heritage”, co-funded with the European Economic Area Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage under the “Culture” Programme, Measure 2 “Improvement of art and culture accessibility”.
