Urban garden – Design workshop

The workshop, during which issues concerning the establishment of urban gardens next to single-family houses as well as blocks of flats and multi-family buildings were discussed.

The participants found out what to pay attention to in order to design a green space adapted to the local conditions and climate change.

As part of the workshop, the participants created a mood board, i.e. an inspiration board for a nature-friendly urban garden.

The workshop provided inspiration for environmentally friendly solutions and drew attention to the issues of biodiversity protection and climate change.

We want to educate through arts and crafts. We connect children, young people and adults with artists, folk artists and museum professionals.

  • The environmental workshops take place as a part of the ‘Shelter – Climate, Migration, Heritage’ project, which is co-financed by the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area 2014-2021 and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage as a part of the Culture Programme, Measure 2 ‘Improvement of an access to culture and the arts’.
